Celebrating Mother Earth

Nature’s gifts to our planet are the millions of species that we know and love, and many more that are waiting to be discovered. Join us to show your support for a greener Earth, as we switch off non-essential lights and appliances at Coco Bodu Hithi and Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu for an hour on Saturday, 30th March 2019.

At Coco Bodu Hithi, Earth Day festivities will start off with an ‘Earthly Snorkel’ to celebrate our divine deep blues, followed by a beach and reef clean-up initiative. Later re-connect with your inner Earth Warrior by joining our tree planting initiative. In the evening, join us for an enlightening awareness session as we shine a light on the importance of protecting out biodiversity.

At Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu, embrace nature during an hour-long yoga session under the moonlight. Dine under the stars at our unforgettable beach barbeque where the freshest catch will be grilled to perfection. Live music woven in with the sounds of the ocean will provide captivating entertainment. 

The team at Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu will commemorate Earth Hour by creating an immense Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu logo using entirely natural materials. 

Both Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu and Coco Bodu Hithi will also be embracing the theme of this year’s Earth Hour, Nature Matters, by conducting a unique guided nature walk through the resort, where you can learn more about the tropical flora, fauna, and wildlife of the islands.
